I should note that it can be purchased at Walmart for .99 I make perfect espresso daily and my girlfriend has mastered latte’s and cappuccino’s. Her friends are running out to buy this machine in droves after sampling her concoctions. We were delighted by how well it steams and makes froth. It takes a couple tries to get it all right, but can be mastered with little effort. To have enough steam for frothing, add water to the top of the metal band on the pot and switch from brew function to steam function as the coffee reaches the bottom of the band, this will allow ample steam for anything. i want a new coffee machine and there are soo many and most have mixed reviews. basically i enjoy filter coffee, not too keen on espresso as its to strong. i like frothy milk. i only use 2 mugs of coffee a day but i like it rich and nice like what you get in costa or starbucks!

i don’t know which to choose. i have had pod coffee machines before and the pods are soo expensive. i had a coffee duck with a senseo but the coffee was never piping hot. i was recommened a moda mio but thats pods again and the reviews are mixed.

dolce gusto are on special offer and so is the new senseo latte machine.. but again they are both pod.

i have seen the kenwood kmix, which is only 6 cup/3 mug size and i could possibly buy a bodum frothy milk maker. but thats a steam coffee maker and not a pump and i was told steam burns the coffee??

AHHH HELP!

Everyday before work I stop and get a coffee at Dunkins or Starbucks I get an iced caramel latte from Dunkins and my favorite is the iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks but it adds up everyday .25 for a coffee adds up! I am trying to make it from home. I have an espresso machine but I don’t know the first thing about making it. I don’t even know what to buy at the store. I know vanilla and caramel but I don’t have a clue when it comes to espresso. What would I buy if I were to go to Stop & Shop or Market basket, or other local grocery store? What type of coffee should I use? I know this sounds ridiculous but is espresso just a different way of making coffee or is it a different bean altogether? All I know is I want to try making it from home so I need help when it comes to the rest. Could you explain everything I need to do to make it (even if it seems like something I should know, I probably don’t, please explain) Any other tips, tricks or facts you know would be helpful as well.

My husband bought me one of these guys for Christmas two years ago, and I used it every day for about a month..then put it away…never to be heard from again until today lol. I remember reading in its instruction manual that a once-a-month cleaning is necessary to keep it working great..but i can’t find the manual..and i don’t remember HOW it said to clean it. I usually use watered down white vinegar on my regular coffee maker, but I’m not sure if I can use it on this. If I can, how does it work, do i just let it process through like its brewing espresso? how do I clean the inside of the steam wand? I’d really like to use it again this evening, if at all possible.

They both seem similar… do you think that the second one would have two seperate thermostats… the specs do not say.

I have an Oster Capuchino Coffee Maker. Because I make daily coffee, the machine is blocked, this is, no releasing enough pressure to fill the cup and the steam from the steam tube is still working but it releases less pressure each day. What can I do? The pipe was just replaced one month ago because of the same problem ( US). Is there a kind of soap? Cleaner? Thanks!!!!

I am a coffee lover but the price of drinks are ridiculous. So me and my cousin decided were going to buy an espresso machine and start experimenting with some drink combinations. Since ive never owned one before im not really sure what i should look for in one. We’re going for the more economic options since we cant dish out 0 right now. The old Mr. Coffee espresso machine has seen its better days, time for a new one. I was afraid it was going to explode!
